
Fish tacos are a delicious and vibrant dish that combines perfectly seasoned, flaky fish with fresh and colorful garnishes. Easy to prepare and full of flavor, they make a satisfying and refreshing meal perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients for Fish
| 1 Emperor fillet (skinless) | 500-800g |
| Chilli powder | 1 tablespoon |
| Paprika | 1 teaspoon |
| Dried oregano | 1 teaspoon |
| Cajun | ½ teaspoon |
| Garlic powder | ½ teaspoon |
| Onion powder | ½ teaspoon |
| Pepper | ½ teaspoon |
| Olive oil |
Ingredients for Taco assembly & garnish
| Corn or flour tortillas | 8 |
| Avocado diced | 1 |
| Lime wedged | 1 |
| Mango diced | 1 |
| Coriander roughly chopped | |
| Chimichurri |
Ingredients for Sauce
| Sour cream | 3 tablespoons |
| Mayonnaise | 2 tablespoons |
| Lime juiced | ½ |
| Garlic powder | ½ teaspoon |
| Cumin | ½ teaspoon |
| Sriracha | ½ teaspoon or to taste |
Step 1
Defrost fish fillet and dab dry
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 200°C grill
Step 3
Bake on a lined baking tray for 6 minutes or until flaky and cooked (don’t ovrcook as it will dry it out)

Heat tortillas on a hot pan
Step 5
In a small bowl, combine all fish taco sauce ingredients and refrigerate until serving.
Step 6
In a small bowl, mix together the seasoning ingredients. Drizzle olive oil on the rub the seasoning mixture into the fish
Step 7
Use a fork to break the fish into large chunks and divide it among the tortillas. Top with desired toppings and serve.
