Tender fish fillets are delicately seasoned with paprika, cumin, and a hint of chili, then simmered to perfection with aromatic garlic and fresh coriander. Ingredients
Emperor fillets | 4 |
Round Paprika long slices | 2 |
Long paprika chopped | 2 |
Chillis halved | 2-3 |
Garlic cloves whole | 10 |
Bushes of coriander | 2 |
Sunflower oil | 1/2 cup |
Paprika powder | 1 tbsp |
Cumin | 1tsp |
Vegetable stock cube | 1 |
Step 1
Put the cut vegetables and whole garlic in the pan with cumin and fry 10min until soft

Pour in 1/2 cup of waterÂ

Crumble a a vegetable stock cube and scatter on top Â

Scatter the roughly chopped corianderÂ

Let it boilÂ

Place the fish fillets on top of everything (skin side down)

Mix 1tbsp paprika powder with 1/2glass of oilÂ

Pour the mixture over the fish fillets – Make sure everything is covered with the sauceÂ

Pinch of salt

Optional: add lemon slices on top of the filletsÂ

Cover the panÂ

High heat until boiling againÂ

Then lower to medium heat, for a low simmer with the pan half covered.

Regularly spread the sauce around and onto the fish so it doesn’t dry out.
